Ah, Bali – the lush green island paradise that’s been calling my name. If you’re planning a trip there, let me tell you, the best time to visit is actually in July. That’s when Bali is in the middle of its dry season, and the weather is just heavenly – kind of like Hawaii, with that perfect blend of sunshine and a light, tropical breeze.

Now, Bali is part of Indonesia, but it has a really unique cultural vibe, with one of the biggest Hindu populations you’ll find. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by beautiful temples and shrines around every corner. It’s truly mesmerizing. And the locals are so friendly and welcoming too.
One thing I’d recommend is hiring a private driver to get you around. That way, you don’t have to worry about the craziness at the airport, with all the taxis, ride shares, and other drivers vying for your business. Our guy was awesome – he took us straight to our hotel and was a wealth of knowledge about the island.
Speaking of hotels, we stayed at the Intercontinental in Bali, and oh my goodness, the grounds were just stunning. Every inch of that place was Instagram-worthy. If you’re looking to just relax and soak up the sun for a few days, this is the perfect spot. And the breakfast buffet? Out of this world. They even brought around samples of traditional Balinese dishes!
So trust me, July is the ideal time to plan your Bali adventure. The weather is beautiful, the crowds are smaller, and you’ll get to experience the unique culture and hospitality of this incredible island. Just make sure to book that private driver in advance – it’ll make your arrival so much smoother. Can’t wait for you to see it for yourself!
